Enter the information about the goods (including books, and regardless of whether they are consumables or fixtures) with a value of 500,000 yen or more per item, suite, or set that were paid for in the final fiscal year under the account of the expenses of the goods in the "Income and Expenditure Settlement by Expense Item" column.
If the purchase unit of goods you plan to buy is “suite,” “set,” etc., add an explanation to that effect following the product name in the column of “Product Name,” enter the purchase volume by “suite,” “set,” etc. in the column of “Quantity,” and fill out the price in the column of “Unit Price.”
For books, if the price of a book or a set of books is 500,000 yen or more, you must enter the book title and amount. If a large number of books with small unit prices were purchased, group them together so that the total amount becomes about 500,000 yen, giving a title that approximately represents the common contents of the books (e.g. "Books on Western medieval political history").
In this case, be sure to enter the number of books.
If goods or items were purchased for the combined use, enter the value of such goods or items if the value is 500,000 yen or more, even if the amount borne by the funded project is less than 500,000 yen. In this case, enter the price of the goods or items in the “Amount” column, check the “Share of cost for purchase of the combined use” box, and enter the amount covered by the funded project in that column.
Please enter information about the purchase of a joint-use facility by combined use of other KAKENHI or research expenses for projects for which the purchase of a joint-use facility by combined use of expenses is permitted under the Competitive Research Funds administered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology or other public authority so long as the total purchase price is 500,000 yen or above, even if the amount paid by your funded research project is less than 500,000 yen. In this case, enter the price of the facility purchased in the "Amount" column, check both the checkbox in the "Amount paid by your research project for combined use" column and the checkbox in the "Joint-use facility" column, and enter the amount paid by your funded research project in the "Amount paid by your research project for combined use" column.
For the facilities of which full price was paid by the funded project and are jointly used, please check the box in the “Joint-use facility” column.
